Terms of Service

1. How the service works

Rewindior lets you create capsules — shared spaces for preserving memories. Each capsule is assigned a unique inbound email address. Emails sent to that address, along with any attachments, are stored in your capsule and visible to its members. You may also add content by uploading files directly through the app. Paid plans may also allow a custom address slug.

You may use the Services only if you are 13 years of age or older and capable of forming a binding contract. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@rewindior.com of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of all content stored in your capsule ("Your Content"), including emails, uploaded files, and collections. By using the Services you grant Rewindior a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Services to you and your capsule members.

You are responsible for all content that enters your capsule — both content you send or upload directly and content sent by others you have invited or shared your capsule address with. You represent that you have all necessary rights to that content and that it does not violate any law or infringe the rights of any third party.

We apply automated processing to incoming content: we sanitize HTML, extract attachments, enforce plan limits, and generate image thumbnails. This processing does not constitute a review or endorsement of Your Content.

4. Custom email addresses

Shared Basic and Shared Plus plan holders may set a custom address slug for their capsule (e.g., my-family@inbound.rewindior.app). Custom address slugs are sub-addresses on the inbound.rewindior.app domain; they are not personal email addresses and do not belong to you.

We reserve the right to reclaim or change a custom address slug at any time — for example, if it is found to be abusive, misleading, infringing, or if it is required for operational reasons. We will provide reasonable notice where possible. Loss of a custom slug does not affect your capsule's default inbound address or its content.

5. Reminders

Rewindior allows you to create reminder schedules that send automated emails to you and your capsule members on a recurring basis. These emails prompt recipients to reply and add new content to the capsule. By enabling reminders you authorize us to send these emails on your behalf to the members of your capsule. You are responsible for ensuring that your capsule members have consented to receive scheduled reminder emails. You may disable or delete reminder schedules at any time from your capsule settings.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Store or forward content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Use your capsule address or reminders to distribute spam or unsolicited bulk mail
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or another user's capsule
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Circumvent plan limits or attempt to abuse the inbound email or upload systems

7. Plans, billing, and trials

Plan types

We offer two types of paid plans:

• Lifetime Access — a one-time purchase that gives the purchasing account permanent personal access to the capsule.
• Shared Basic and Shared Plus — monthly subscriptions that unlock shared access for multiple members. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Free trial

Your first Shared Basic or Shared Plus subscription includes a 14-day free trial. Only one trial is available per account. After the trial ends your payment method will be charged at the regular plan rate.

Cancellation and lapsed accounts

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods. If your subscription ends and you do not hold a Lifetime Access purchase, your capsule enters a 90-day read-only period during which no new emails or uploads are accepted. After 90 days all capsule data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. You can reactivate at any time before the 90-day deadline by renewing your subscription or purchasing Lifetime Access.

8. Plan limits

Each plan has limits on the number of capsule members, collections, total attachment size per message, and inbound emails per day. Messages that exceed these limits are silently dropped and not stored. The per-message size limit applies to the total of all attachments in a single message. Note that email delivery is subject to a maximum of approximately 35 MB per message regardless of plan; direct uploads support the full plan limit. Current plan limits are listed on the Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every email or upload sent to your capsule will be received and stored successfully. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rewindior shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or memories, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination your right to use the Services ceases immediately and your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
