Why I created Rewindior

I built Rewindior to keep my own memories somewhere private.
Now I want to help you do the same.

Picture of me, creator of Rewindior
This is me on my wedding day. I wish I'd had Rewindior back then.

When I found out I was going to be a father, I wanted somewhere private to put my thoughts and memories. A place I could look back on one day, and share with my kid when they're older.

I also wanted to gather memories from the friends and family around me, so my child gets the whole picture, not just my side of it. I've always wondered how my own parents felt while I was growing up. This is how I make sure my kid never has to wonder.

That's all Rewindior really is: a place to keep what matters and pass it on to the people you love without handing your memories to a company that wants to mine them for everything they're worth.

You don't have to be a new parent for this to land. Graduations, weddings, birthdays, an ordinary Tuesday. If it's worth remembering, it's worth keeping somewhere that'll still be around when you want it.

What I believe

A few things I won't compromise on.

Your memories are yours

They belong to you, not me. You decide what's kept and who gets to see it.

I don't mine your data

No ads, no selling to third parties, no sharing without your say-so, no training AI on your memories. Full stop.

Changed your mind?

Delete everything, whenever you want. No hoops.

Keep your own copy

Back up every memory to your own cloud storage, so it lives somewhere you control, not only with me.
